EEOC Recovers $56.6 Million in Settlements for Victims of Sexual Harassment in FY 2018

EEOC Releases FY 2018 Statistics

On April 10, 2019, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) reported the statistical litigation and enforcement breakdown for FY 2018.

Sexual harassment charges increased by 13.6% over the previous year to 7,609. The EEOC recovered $56.6 million in financial settlements for victims of sexual harassment.

OFCCP Releases March 2019 Audit List

Today, OFCCP released its next Corporate Scheduling Announcement List (CSAL) in the OFCCP FOIA Library.  This is the first time OFCCP has posted the CSAL only in the FOIA Library without mailing advanced contractor notifications to individual establishments.

DC Court Reinstates EEO-1 Report Pay Data Requirement

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia issued an opinion on March 4, 2019, that reinstated component 2 of the EEOC’s collection of employees W-2 pay data, as part of the annual EEO-1 Report filing. Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope Pays $395,000 for Discriminating

During a routine compliance evaluation, OFCCP determined that Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope Inc, discriminated against female, white and black applicants that applied for their Loader and Uploader positions while favoring Hispanic male applicants.
