Most recently announcing the development of a pocket card for “Requesting a Reasonable Accommodation.” The intention of the card is to simplify the process of requesting reasonable accommodations for employees and potential employees. The card is meant to be transportable and uses easy to understand language to answer four key questions:

  1. What is a reasonable accommodation?
  2. How do I request a reasonable accommodation?
  3. What do I need to tell my employer?
  4. What happens next?

The pocket card is a part of an educational outreach effort by the OFCCP to employees and job applicants regarding their rights under Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act.
